Rock Garnet Sand

Rock garnet sand mined from red rock deposits in China (giving it dark red color). Thanks to the crushing process, grain edges are super sharp, which increases the cutting speed at a reasonable price. Removing dust is much harder than from naturally filtered beach garnet though. Thus, only the most advanced washing and sieving factories in the world will achieve quality suitable for demanding waterjet or blasting machines, recommended for most waterjet applications, including heavy duty cutting and general water cutting.

Rock garnet sand is a natural mineral abrasive. It is the best for water jet cutting in cost, cutting speed, and health hazards. Garnet sand 60# 80# 120# usually be used for waterjet cutting. A water jet manufacturer or an abrasive supplier can help the business determine the right abrasive type and grade. This results in an abrasive selection that will maximize the performance of the water jet cutting machine.
