Adding garnet sand to waterjet cutting marbles etc
Waterjet cutting includes pure water cutting and sand cutting.
Pure water cutting has its limitation on cutting objects,it can only cut relatively soft materials, such as diapers.so can not work widely.
Currently the waterjet cutting machines can cut metal, stainless steel, stone, and even composite materials is because they incorporate garnet sand (also called waterjet abrasive in the waterjet industry, as it is the most economical and practical, and arguably the only, waterjet abrasive). Adding garnet sand greatly enhances the cutting performance of waterjet cutting, allowing it to cut steel plates tens of millimeters thick. Therefore, if you want to cut marble, or create marble waterjet mosaics, you must use garnet sand in water.
